Controlled Environment, Naturally Grown Produce Farm.
Welcome.
We are a locally owned, family-oriented, controlled environment growing facility focusing on naturally grown produce. In 2020, we purchased the farm, with the idea that we could fill a gap in the market by growing fresh produce during the winter months. Our belief is that, with the right setup, we can do so while keeping the cost to operate down, allowing us to provide our produce to the community at prices comparable to prices paid during the summer months when produce is plentiful, without compromising on the quality of the product. Local consumers should be able to enjoy fresh produce all year long that are free of pesticides and herbicides.
Having no real experience in growing in this type of environment, we relied on the local university (ATI) to provide both experts and resources to get us started. We believe that with growth we will be able to become a valuable resource to them via internships and job placement. In fact, we have already completed one internship for them and hope to do more in the future. We also benefit by being located in a huge agricultural area and are not lacking in locals with on-the-ground knowledge and experience.

The first few months were difficult and an interesting learning experience. We met with all kinds of interesting problems. To us, every problem is an opportunity and we noted and adjusted to the reality of the situations we encountered. We believe that, over time, we will perfect our particular approach and deliver quality produce in a consistent manner. Our goal is to become an example of this type of farming in Ohio and provide additional opportunities to the local communities.

Fresh produce should be available all year long and affordable. Our local farmers are doing a great job during the typical growing season and we do not wish to compete with them. Our area is currently getting produce over the winter that is shipped in from great distances, resulting in bland products at exorbitant prices. We intend to fix that problem by using natural based growing practices and homegrown talent.
